Panthers Win: 18 - 8
Tonight the Comstock Park Panthers hosted the Jenison Wildcats. After a slow start from the panthers with the wildcats racking up 3 unanswered goals, the panthers picked up their intensity for their first conference win this season with a game final of 18-8.  Senior Allie Blackmore had 5 goals, 2 assists, 5 ground balls, 4 caused turnovers, and 5 draw controls tonight and senior Emily Hodder helped with 3 goals and 2 assists for the panthers as well. Tonight though the real spark to light the panthers fire came from Senior Julia Arnone. This defenseman not only led the panthers with 7 ground balls but also put up 3 goals making Arnone the second leading scorer. Arnone plays with intensity regardless if she is on attack or defense and the panthers looked to her tonight for their motivation. Arnone says she "thought the game was excellent and thought CP played strong, keeping their heads up the whole game". The panthers were also able to get 3 first time goals from Wynter Ward, Izzy Rodriquez and Tori Bloch.
