COOPERSVILLE HIGH SCHOOL: 4
CP won their home opener 10-4 vs Coopersville in game three of conference play. The score remained 0-0 through the first three innings. Coopersville took the lead in the 4th after a two run homerun from E. Lemieux. CP answered and scored four runs in the bottom of the fourth to take the lead at 4-2. CPs bats were hot in the 5th, adding 6 more runs, including a grand slam from #9 Leslie Walters. Coopersville hit in two more in the 6th inning, resulting in a final score of 10-4.
