The Panthers hosted Newaygo Tuesday in a non-league doubleheader matchup that was moved to CP due to field conditions at Newaygo. Behind the strong pitching performance of senior Gabe Couturier the Panthers defeated the Lions 9-1, Couturier threw a complete game with 8 strikeouts. Brenden Pelton and Quinton Martin each had 2 hits and Cam Martin chipped in with 3 runs scored and 3 steals. Newaygo defeated CP 6-4 in the second game.
